During the pandemic, Amanda Rudolph’s son wanted a bearded dragon for his birthday. His excitement faded, but caring for the dragon rekindled Amanda’s passion for reptiles. Amanda found a community of reptile enthusiasts and rediscovered her own interests. Now, her home is filled with 23 dragons, each with a unique personality. They require significant care but offer affection and companionship. Amanda’s family has embraced the reptile lifestyle, with her children enthusiastically helping and living their motto, “teamwork makes the dream work.” Now she is promoting expos and educating people about the joys and responsibilities of exotic pet ownership.
