We started our podcast because we know only a tiny fraction of the experiences the people in our community have lived through.
If you sit down with anyone and listen you can learn so much more than the public persona portrayed by people in your life. We have interviewed bull riders, bomb technicians, musicians, world travelers, rescue swimmers, pastors and more. These are all regular people doing regular things. They stand behind you at HEB or pump gas next to you at the local gas station. Their story is fascinating and only told if you ask and listen.
Celebrate your neighbors and honor them by hearing their story. You'll be glad you did. And then be prepared to tell your unique story. Life is so much more interesting when you know someone by hearing more than just the public veneer.
